Merejewansaathi.com is a family-owned matrimonial consulting service with offices in New Delhi, India and in the USA. Privacy is at the heart of what we do. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

When you register through our website, or speak to us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we may collect:

• Details about the person looking for a partner: name, gender, date of birth, height, education, profession, community or religion, and city and country of residence.
• Partner preferences, wedding timeline and anything else you choose to tell us.
• Your contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and postal address.
• Bio-data, photographs and family information that you choose to share with our consultants.

2. How we collect it

Our website does not store your registration on a server or in a database. When you press submit, the form prepares a message on your own device and opens WhatsApp so that you can send it to our consultant yourself. We also collect information you give us directly in calls, meetings, WhatsApp messages and emails.

3. How we use your information

• To contact you about your registration and understand your family's wishes.
• To search for and suggest suitable matches.
• To arrange introductions and meetings between families.
• To answer your questions and keep you updated.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell it.

4. Who we share it with

• Families you approve. Your bio-data and photographs are shared only with families you have agreed to be introduced to. We never publish profiles online.
• Our consultants. Your details are seen only by our team in New Delhi and the USA, so that we can work across both countries.
• Service providers. Messages you send us travel through WhatsApp (Meta), phone and email providers, which have their own privacy policies. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare and uses Google Fonts, which may receive basic technical data such as your IP address when the page loads.
• The law. We may disclose information if the law requires us to.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our website does not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking tools.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information only while we are actively helping your family, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you return to us. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

7. Keeping it safe

We take reasonable care to protect your information and limit access to the consultants working with your family. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please share only what you are comfortable with.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, stop sharing it, or delete it completely. Depending on where you live, laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or US state privacy laws may give you further rights. 9. Age

Our service is for adults. Every candidate must be of legal marriageable age in their country. A parent or relative registering on someone's behalf should have their agreement.
